The drive there takes around two-three hours and is an experience in itself as we might spot both elephants, baboons and black-and-white colobus monkeys by the road side. When reaching Ishasha you check-in at the lodge, enjoy your lunch and some rest. Later in the afternoon it is time for a game-drive searching for lions in the fig-trees and being fascinated by the peculiar looking topis.
