BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK
Stunning views over the jungle covered mountains and the home of Uganda’s Mountain Gorillas. Besides the mountain gorillas attractions include Batwa trail’s to learn about the indigenous people who used to live in the impenetrable forest and wonderful bird-watching possibilities.
QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
A park offering a nice diversity with tree-climbing lions in the southern Ishasha sector, a cruise on Kazinga channel spotting hippos on the banks, chimps trekking in Kyambura gorge or close by Kalinzu forest, an abundance of birds (606 different species) and savanna with elephants and buffaloes.
MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK
Known as the giraffe paradise of Uganda you are sure to spot these majestic creatures during a game-drive in the park. Other highlights is the boat-cruise on the Nile to see hippos as well as crocodiles and a visit to the top of the impressive waterfall.
LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK
Zebras in abundance are found in Lake Mburo National Park as well as stunning views and impalas. Here you can head out for an early morning safari walk discovering the daybreak life of the wildlife.
KIDEPO VALLEY NATIONAL PARK
Experience true wilderness in Uganda’s most remote national park that has been ranked among the top national parks in Africa. Kidepo Valley National Park is rich in big game and here you can see giraffes, zebras, lions and more all against the scenic landscape.
Kibale Forest NATIONAL PARK
A rain-forest that is home to 13 different primate species including chimpanzees, red colobus and the L’hoest’s monkey. The main attraction here is to go chimps trekking, either on a regular trek taking a few hours or for a full day taking part in habituation of chimps.
Mgahinga Gorilla NATIONAL PARK
This national park is bordering Rwanda and Congo, sharing the famous Virunga Mountain range, and has one mountain gorilla group for trekking. Other activities here include a visit to the indigenous Batwa people to learn about how they used to live in the forest, golden monkey trekking, birding or hiking of the volcanoes in the park.
SEMULIKI NATIONAL PARK
This is the only low land tropical rain-forest in East Africa. The park has an interesting animal life including 374 species of butterflies and birds from the Congo basin making it a must stop during a birding safari. Besides the animals a visit to Sempaya hot-springs and a tour of meet the Batwa people (pygmies) are possible.
KAMPALA
The bustling capital of Uganda spread out on hills and with traffic that will fascinate you. A city tour here can include cultural sites like the Buganda kingdom’s Kasubi tombs, a walk through town to see the famous old taxi park and Owino market, a visit to a craft market or a tour of the slum.
ENTEBBE
Uganda’s international airport is located in Entebbe, a bit south of the capital Kampala. In Entebbe you can spend the night of arrival or departure and if you wish explore the Botanical garden, Uganda Wildlife Educational Centre or visit Ngamba Island to see their work with chimps.

Go with the scientists studying the lion prides in Queen Elizabeth National Park to get an exclusive lion experience out of the ordinary.
Gorilla Habituation in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Take the chance to participate in the habituation of a new mountain gorilla group and spend four hours with the mountain gorillas. This is a very exclusive experience as there are only 8 gorilla habituation permits available per day and you get that extra time with the gorillas that many wish for.
Chimps Habituation in Kibale National Park
Upgrade your chimps trekking to a chimps habituation experience in Kibale Forest National Park. You then go with the team working to habituate a new group of chimps and spend one hour around the chimps.
Horse riding in Lake Mburo National Park
If you’re comfortable with horses this is a highlight for you as you ride close to zebras, impalas and more.
Safari Walk
Experience the feeling of being on foot walking in a national park as you look for zebras, giraffes, buffaloes and enjoy the beautiful nature. This experience of going through the park with a ranger we recommend in Kidepo Valley National Park or Lake Mburo National Park.
Night Game-drive
The savanna becomes a different place in the night when the lions and leopards are out hunting. A night game-drive gives you the chance to glimpse the night time life of the wildlife in the park.

Volcanoes National Park
This national park includes Rwanda’s part of the famous Virunga mountains where Dian Fossey studied the mountain gorillas. Here you find scenic nature and can trek Mountain gorillas or golden monkeys.
Lake Kivu
The beautiful landscape by Lake Kivu offers a place to rest during your safari. If you wish for some activity it is possible to go for a boat-ride.
Nyungwe Forest
This jungle in the south of Rwanda offers a canopy walk to get a different view of the life in the trees and it is possible to go chimps trekking.
KIGALI
Kigali is the capital city of Rwanda and where their international airport is located. An arrival or departure night can be spent here and if time allows you can make have a city tour including the Genocide memorial center to learn about the countries recent tragic history.
Serengeti National Park
Classic savannah landscape full of wildlife like zebras, elephants, gazelle and buffalo plus chance to search for big cats; lion, leopard and cheetah. Serengeti is famous for the annual wildebeest migration.
Ngorongoro Crater
Nicknamed “the eight wonder of the world” Ngorongoro Crater offers a unique wildlife experience. Here the game-drive starts by driving to the base of the crater where an estimate of 25 000 animals are found including zebra, rhino, lion and buffalo.
Masai Mara National Park
The iconic Masai Mara is full of wildlife like zebra, gazelle and topi plus big cats; lion, leopard and cheetah. Wildlife documentaries have made the wildebeest migration’s crossing of the Mara river a well known sight. This is the traditional home of the Masai people and their interesting culture.
Lake Nakuru National Park
In Lake Nakuru national park eastern black rhinos and southern white rhinos have been introduced and can be seen on the savannah. The park has also been famous for a seasonal abundance of flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake, but in later years the numbers have decreased.
